Resistive Soil Moisture Sensors
Measure moisture via electrical resistance between two probes.
Wet soil = low resistance; dry soil = high resistance.
Cheap, easy to use, but prone to corrosion over time.
Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensors
Measure moisture by detecting changes in capacitance.
No exposed metal, reducing corrosion issues.
More accurate and durable but slightly more expensive.
